I worked with Maria to decorate much of my newly renovated home. She decorated my living room, dining room, family room, and master bedroom. I couldn’t be happier with the results. Maria took the time to understand the look I was going for and help me select the perfect pieces to go in my home. Maria was very professional and always answered my calls and emails immediately. It was easy to schedule meetings and times for installation. During this pandemic she also took the appropriate safety measures. “We flooded in 2017 due to Hurricane Harvey. We had a contractor but needed some assistance with the redecorating. I contacted Maria Romero and discussed my needs. She is very professional yet warm. She promptly went to work and sent some color palettes for me to choose from and the ball was rolling. With each room's project, I was given several options to choose from. Maria paid attention to every detail down to the accessories. She addressed every question/concern I had. The whole process was so simple and stress free for me because she did the work. I just had to choose. Maria is spot-on with her decorating ability. She did the research on the furniture I needed. Again, all I had to do was choose from her selections. She did all the ordering: Kitchen counter tops, back-splash, window treatment, wallpaper, throw pillows, fabric for dining room chairs, accessories, etc.. Everything arrived on time without a hitch and was ready for the contractors when they needed it

Maria is the ultimate professional. I was under an extremely short timetable to finalize selections and palettes for a kitchen and 3 bathrooms renovation project. I knew what I wanted, had all the pieces organized and structured, and I needed an expert designer to come in, understand the vision and tie it all together in time to submit selections for the project to stay on track.

I found Maria online on a Friday at 2pm. By 6pm we had a meeting scheduled for the next day, Saturday at 10am. She arrived at the house on time for an initial 2 hour consultation. I gave her the scope of the project, and she quickly started building a task list of immediate action items. She then took my research and went to work.

We met at the design center on day 4 of the engagement, where she came in with additional samples, tactfully set the stage based on the research, to allow me to breeze through the selection process for the bathrooms. Easy.

We met again on day 5 of the engagement, and repeated the process for the kitchen cabinets and island style and colors, backsplash, grout, hardware and paint options for the space.

By 5pm that day, all my selection were in, and just like that, it took Maria less than 8 hours to dive in and turn 4 weeks of ideas and research into a minimalist, modern, classic and timeless design. Hire her.

I have great things to say about working with Maria. We hired her for her landscape design. She took the time to measure our yard, ask questions to really understand what we wanted and then provided us with not only the drawings but the steps to take in order to accomplish the design. She also gave us a price list on additional items, like lighting and hardscape rock to factor in and elevate the project further. The fact that she knows both interior and exterior really helped us with our decision making around keeping the mcm design throughout the inside of our house flow to the outside. I have recommended her to many of my friends who have also hired her and raved about her deign eye. She's really good!
